How do you calculate this?

There are 10 boxes of cigarettes. The cigarette weighs 1gram each expect for one which weighs 1.1gram each cigarette. With an electronic scale and only one givern try, how you know which of the 10 packs is the one containing 1.1gram?

    you can’t calculate this. it’s imposible with only one scaling of one ciggarete box.

    You can calculate!
    Look.

    1. You add one cigarette from first box, two ciggarettes from second box, 3 from third,…
    Then you get mass of all cigarettes you used!
    2. Then you see:
    Number1-point-number2
    Number2 is number of the cigarette box with 1.1 gram!
    Lets say:
    x.5
    5 tells you it`s the box from which you gave five cigarettes.
