Amazing how uninformed people will give their opinions on things they know nothing about and are too close minded to learn about. All the while still screaming that cigs smell and smokers are killing them with second and now third hand smoke!
Ecigs ARE going to cause problems for local, state and federal incomes as they will effect the tax revenue when people start switching over to them from tobacco cigs and we will switch over enmasse. They will also have an impact on big pharmacy and big tobacco industries as well. Follow the money trail!
As they become more and more popular, legislation will be made to try to ban them or at the very least tax them as they do tobacco.

I do know that after smoking cigs for 36 years, I am finally off of tobacco and I love it. Eventually, I’ll be off the nicotine too, but until then I’ll be attached to my e-cig!

E-cigs use Propelene Glycol (PG) or Vegetable Glycerin (VG)and distilled water to make the vapor, the nicotine is OPTIONAL.

It is clearly because it will intrude on the taxes that they get from tobacco products. Not to mention it will really cut down on the money that big tobacco makes all together.

I think the gov is just scared sh*tless and does not know what to do. It is funny because I have read articles where people have said they seen congressmen and even the prez smoking them.

Which one are you using.The Fifty one sucks.The batteries keep shorting out.Please send me your link.They do help you I was using mine till it broke the fifth time.I’ve had it.

Clearly, there are double standards for tobacco cigarettes and ecigs. Why don’t we stop the sale of regular cigarettes until the FDA has proven them to be safe?

We know a lot about tobacco cigarettes: they are not good for your health and contain thousands of toxins.

Electronic cigarettes are certainly a better alternative with many great benefits ranging from cost savings, to odor less, to no butts littering our country!

Support a petition requesting that the FDA allows people to continue to use and purchase electronic cigarette products at their own discretion while further testing commences from the FDA.

Because nicotine is what makes cigarettes addicting. You can get addicted to real cigarettes with all the “bad stuff” or be addicted to a plastic cigarette, neither one is healthy. Nicotine also works great as an insecticide just to let you know, so I’m sure its great for the lungs.

Why would u smoke with an electronic cigarette doesn’t it defeat the purpose of smoking? i thought smoking was for the taste not to look cool.

Probably for that exact reason.

It is less profitable to a powerful industry.

Same reason marijuana is illegal. The plant was a threat to the lumber, textile and tobacco industries.

EDIT: What is so bad about them is that they are equally addictive, and the liquified nicotine increases the chances of contracting nicotine poisoning.
